There have been cases where people have been victimized over and over again and not even realized it. Some clever criminals will obtain credit card information belonging to a consumer and will then make purchases using that information for months. Many people do not bother to read their credit card statements other than the “Minimum Amount Due” and do not realize they are being victimized. Take the short few minutes required to look at the detail of all the new charges on all of your credit card statements.
