Criminals who specialize in posing as legitimate charities always ramp up their efforts in the wake of a disaster. It could be an earthquake, a hurricane, a tsunami or just about any other kind of event that brings out the generous side of decent people. The not-so-decent are ready to scoop up whatever money they can by posing as a legitimate charity. Always be 100 percent certain you are dealing with a legitimate charity organization before you give.
