9 Signs of OCD in Teens

5. Disliking how you look

Most, if not all teenagers go through a phase of not liking how they look, heck, even adults go through these thought processes every so often right? However, people with OCD can also suffer from a condition called Body Dysmorphic Disorder, where they will obsessively focus on a certain aspect of themselves that they do not like, such as their nose size or hair length. People with BDD can spend hours a day looking in a mirror, focusing on what they are unhappy with, causing feelings of worthlessness and self doubt.
