12. Hummingbird
A ruby-throated hummingbird flaps its wings at an astounding 53 times per second! They can, as most of us know, hover and fly backward, but they can also fly upside-down. If you manage to get close enough to one of them in flight, you’ll find that they actually sound like giant bumblebees.
