#2 Dishwasher cleaner

Most people probably don’t give it a lot of thought, but dishwashers are equipped with a mechanism for grinding up the little bits of food that are often left on dishes, pots, and pans. Sometimes the food can accumulate in areas of the dishwasher and cause an odor. Running your dishwasher empty with a cup of vinegar (don’t put it in the soap dispenser) will help diminish odors, and may also help make the inside look brighter and cleaner.
