#5 Raw meat and fish

Yes, it’s obvious that a canine’s natural diet in the wild consists largely of raw meat, since dogs lack the skill required to build a fire and cook their meals. Raw meat can sometimes contain parasites and bacteria that can even make dogs sick. Fish can be especially troublesome, since it may contain a nasty parasite that causes what is sometimes described as “fish disease.” Although it may sound more like something that could sicken your goldfish, “fish disease” can actually be fatal for dogs within just two weeks if it is not treated.
