In order for farms in the United States to make the chickens grow at a faster rate and make their meat look fresher than it is, farmers add arsenic to the chicken feed that is given to their chickens. This means that when we eat chicken from the United States, it is slowly being added into our system as we eat more of the chicken. Even though the FDA has denied this in the past, they admitted that this is, in fact, the situation and that high doses of Arsenic can have incredibly fatal health issues.
