5. Processed Foods & Artificial Food Dyes
More than 3,000 preservatives, artificial flavouring, and artificial colours are added into a variety of foods produced in the United States. The majority of these are banned in most other countries. Countries such as Norway and Austria use paprika extract or even beetroot which are both natural food colourings, instead of artificial colouring, in order to dye their foods. The artificial colourings, flavourings and preservatives can cause a lot of birth defects, behavioural issues, and even cancer. Stay away from any foods which contain these!
