Robin Williams was loved by many in the U.S. Military. In the spirit of Bob Hope, Williams brought his comedy to military personnel serving overseas and helped brighten the days of soldiers who often existed in a world of violence, suffering and pain. Williams made six USO tours to Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries, entertaining an estimated 90,000 troops before his last tour ended in 2010.
