7. Speed Traps
These types of apps are very dependent on a number of participating users in order for them to be of any use. Users are able to report the locations of speed traps they see in a given area, which makes that information available to other users in that area. Using GPS, it will automatically alert the user if they are approaching an area where a speed trap has been reported.
