2. Stanford University
Not only known for being the largest contiguous university campus in the United States, Stanford also has a long and rich tradition for producing alumni that are extremely successful in the areas of business among others. Some of the companies established by Stanford alumni include Google, Yahoo!, Nike, and Hewlett-Packard to name a few. So far, there have also been 58 Nobel laureates that have come out of Stanford. It is also the most selective college in the United States as it only accepts about 5% of those who apply.
