Don’t just overlook it if you fail to receive an expected bank statement or credit card bill. It’s common for identity thieves to change the address on an account with the hope of preventing their victim from receiving statements that will tip them off to fraudulent activity. Always call the bank or credit card company if something you are expecting in the mail does not arrive.
