Unless he has a good reason to avoid his mom, most decent guys make an effort to keep their mothers in their lives. A guy who clearly loves his mom and talks to her on a regular basis is probably going to treat you better as well. On the other hand, be wary of someone whose mom is too involved in his life or too controlling, since that could spell big trouble in a long-term relationship.
