This is also known by the somewhat dubious names asthma weed, Lobelia inflata, pukeweed, vomit wort. It’s touted by some as a remedy for coughing, bronchitis, and asthma. Attempting to use this remedy can have serious consequences, including rapid heartbeat, very low blood pressure, coma, and possibly death.
