4. Cough Suppressants
Yep, there’s a reason that various cough medicines are used during the production of certain illegal drugs. Many of them contain some form of ephedrine which is similar in molecular structure to meth. Not good. They can also be falsely detected as opiates by drug tests. Watch out for similar over-the-counter medications that are manufactured for cold or flu relief as well, since they may also contain problem ingredients.
