4. Provide an Ear and Listen

One of the most important parts of being a good communicator is being a good listener. This improves the quality of your conversations too. Think about how annoying it would be to be constantly interrupted while trying to talk. Being a good listener allows the other person to get things off their chest, which they may have been keeping to themself. A problem shared can sometimes be a problem halved, which of course can result in the person being happier.
