10. Milk and Dairy Products Made with rBGH
In order for cows to produce a larger amount of milk, they are injected with a genetically engineered artificial hormone known as rBGH. It was originally genetically engineered from the E-coli bacteria and was marketed as ‘Posilac’. It has been banned in over 30 countries due to how it has been known to cause not only breast cancer but also prostate cancer. However, it is not banned in the United States.
