You don’t have to be an M.D. to know that vomiting is often the body’s way of trying to get rid of something that’s harmful or dangerous. Alcohol is no exception and although the amount of alcohol required to cause vomiting will vary from person to person, it’s a no-brainer to figure out that the person who throws up after a sip or two is probably not suffering from alcohol poisoning. Vomiting is a common reaction for some people who drink just a little, so watch for other symptoms that make alcohol poisoning more likely.
