It’s widely recognized that disease like multiple sclerosis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and scleroderma are caused by a malfunctioning immune system. Medical science can only offer theories as to what causes diseases like multiple sclerosis. Some people believe that these diseases may develop after a long exposure to gluten in people who are intolerant of the protein which has pushed their immune system into overdrive as it tries to defend the body against what it sees as an invader.
