6. Center of The Universe
Some people act as if the world revolves around them. With the number of obese people in the country, we don’t doubt that many of them exert enough gravitational pull on surrounding objects to legitimize that claim. It’s also clear that some folks appear to have more fat between their ears that they should. Evidence of this is provided by the results of a 1999 poll that found 20 percent of Americans believe the Sun orbits the Earth. In the intervening 15 years, we expect that the number is probably closer to 30 percent today.
