2. A “Big” Country
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 35 percent of all adults over 20 years of age in the U.S. are obese. A quick trip to the local WalMart may have you believing that number is closer to 50 percent. We constantly hear that “heart disease is a killer,” or “high blood pressure is a killer” but maybe it makes more sense to say that “junk food is a killer” since it seems like the root cause of most of these problems.
